Anoushka Shankar is an Indian-born British American singer and musician, is well known for her music. She was among the youngest and the first woman to be awarded the British House of Commons Shield she has had nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian origin to play live on stage and also serve as a presenter at the awards ceremony.
