Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Anna Gunn is an American actress. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the late 1970s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her professional career working in the Chicago area theatres for a few years. Then she moved to film and television. In 1992 Anna got her first major character as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was given the role of Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was a different film that she was a part of. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. The relationship between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's last years of his life.
