Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely acclaimed for pioneering the study of witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory within legal contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific author who has received several awards and grants. She has collaborated with numerous governments and organizations all over the world to conduct policy and research relating to child victims of the legal system. She currently serves as advisor to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center in Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She has been a member of numerous professional organizations, including that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
